HACA's Governing Board, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, has delegated most of its duties to the HACA Housing Commission which oversees HACA’s day-to-day operations.

The HACA Housing Commission is composed of 12 members:  one from each of the nine (9) cities that HACA serves, one (1) representing the unincoporated areas of the county and two (2) HACA tenants.  The Alameda County Board of Supervisors makes all appointments to the HACA Housing Commission from nominees submitted by the respective city council of each city in HACA’s jurisdiction and, as to the representative from the unincorporated areas and the two HACA tenants, from nominees submitted by the Executive Director.

The HACA Housing Commission meets regularly at 8:00 A.M. on the second Wednesday of each month in the HACA Board Room located at 22941 Atherton Street in Hayward.  Meeting notices for Special and/or cancelled meetings are provided to the Clerk, Board of Supervisors for posting, posted at HACA and noted on the HACA calendar (to the left).  Once prepared, the Agenda Packets for the next Housing Commission meeting can be found in Agenda Download Section.
