The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) is releasing the proposed FY2023 Annual Plan for public comment.  HACA’s Annual Plan is a guide to HACA’s policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals for the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.  Staff has prepared the Annual Plan, using HUD’s streamlined Annual Plan template. The Annual Plan must be submitted to HUD by April 16, 2023.

This year’s Annual Plan largely describes changes to HACA’s Administrative Plan regarding selection of program participants and informal review and hearing procedures.  It also describes HACA’s progress in meeting its goals since the last 5-Year Plan submission. While HACA welcomes review of the proposed updates to the FY 2023 Annual Plan, you are not required to attend the public hearing to submit comments.
